Certified Breast Feeding Support

I provide guidance, education, and emotional support to families during their breastfeeding journey. While not a medical provider or IBCLC, as a CBC (Certified Breast Feeding Counselor), I play a vital frontline role in helping parents overcome common feeding challenges and build confidence in their ability to nourish their baby.

As a CBC, I:
*Educate families about the benefits of breastfeeding and how it works
*Demonstrate proper latch, positioning, and feeding techniques
*Provide support through common concerns like sore nipples, low milk supply, engorgement, or fussy feeding
*Help families understand what's normal in newborn feeding patterns & growth
*Offer emotional reassurance to new parents who may feel overwhelmed or unsure
*Refer families to medical professionals or IBCLCs when more advanced help is needed
*Support diverse families with inclusive, culturally sensitive care and  nonjudgmental language
*Advocate for breastfeeding-friendly environments in homes, workplaces, and communities
